Robert Washington

Robert Washington is a 9/11 U.S. Navy veteran, retired professional athlete, motivational speaker, and Executive Sales Leader at Microsoft. A husband and father of six, Robert brings a rare combination of military discipline, elite athletic performance, and corporate leadership to everything he does — but his greatest achievement, he'll tell you, is being present for his children.

At a pivotal moment in his career as a professional mixed martial arts competitor, Robert faced a defining choice: continue chasing his dream of becoming a world champion, or slow down and invest more deeply in the lives of his children. He chose his family. That decision became the foundation of his life's mission — proving that a father's presence is the most powerful legacy he can leave.

That conviction led Robert to co-found Fathers and Football, a Texas-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit connecting fathers to their children through the game of football. The organization builds youth football programs led by father-coaches, provides equipment and resources, and removes financial barriers so every child can play and every father can lead.

Today, Robert serves as head coach of the Frisco Elite Youth Flag Football Team, where he puts that mission into practice every week — using the football field as a platform to encourage fathers to show up, get involved, and build lasting bonds with their kids.
